Born in Australia, blues musician Michael Charles found a new home for himself in Chicago where over the past several decades he’s performed with blues legends such as Buddy Guy, James Cotton, Eddy Clearwater, and Jimmy Dawkins. In that time span, he’s released over 30 albums, and played countless blues festivals.

Currently in the midst of a major tour which includes Canada, the U.S. and his home country of Australia, Charles is in Regina to play two shows at the Artful Dodger on Thursday Dec. 10 and Friday Dec. 11. I’m not sure what the ticket price is, but the shows are listed on Michael Charles’ website as starting at 8 p.m.

To give you a sense of what to expect, here’s video from 2013 of Charles and his band performing a song called “Angel Eyes” in Chicago
