Attention American wingnuts: whatever happened to Support The Troops? At a recent public debate for Republican presidential candidates, the audience booed a statement made by a gay American soldier serving in Iraq (Talking Points Memo).

Not only did they boo a fellow human being.
Not only did they boo a man brave enough to ask about his rights as a gay man to a Republican.
But they booed someone who is out there protecting our country and putting his life on the line for us. For THEM. He’s protecting the people who have booed him.So how DARE they sit there, safe and in America, and boo a soldier in Iraq who wants to have equal rights as a fellow human being so he can continue to protect us.
