Entertainment options are dwindling as we head into the final few days before Christmas. But if you want to check out some home-grown rock and roll two bands with Regina ties are playing O’Hanlon’s Wednesday night.

The head-liners are the Florals. I’m not sure of the band’s exact line-up these days. At one point, the garage rockers consisted of Riva Farrell-Racette (Sylvie/the Spoils), Carl Johnson (Library Voices, Coldest Night of the Year) and Piper Burns. If that’s still the case, then that’s who will be on stage tomorrow night.

The opening act is the Surf Dads. They’re a surf rock act fronted by Gage McGuire (guitar, vocals) and Chris Dimas (drums). The Surf Dads recently snagged Best New Band honours in Best of Regina 2015. So if you haven’t seen them yet, here’s your chance.

Here’s video from September of the Surf Dads performing a song called “Beach Dreams”
