1 THIS IS AMERICA Last fall, angry suckers voted in a Tea Party Republican Congess. Now, the federal government is on the verge of shutdown because nobody can work with these bullying teapot heads who demand their way on everything.  And now a compromise that might’ve kept the government and the needed services it provides going is in shambles because the Teabaggers will not quit until Planned Parenthood is de-funded.

And where are their supporters? Gone back to itching their butts with overdue credit card bills. They’re so disengaged they’ve even stopped watching Glenn Beck.

Here’s the Washington Post’s FAQ on the shutdown. And I’ll add this: before Christmas, the Republicans threatened to scuttle emergency jobless benefits to force the extension of Bush-era tax cuts that add $700 BILLION to the national debt.

Meanwhile, the Canadian political party that has the most support among voters is the one that’s most similar to Republicans. But whatever I guess.
