Similar to Victoria-based Northcote (a.k.a. Matt Goud) who once played in the Regina hardcore band Means, Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter Dave Hause has a long history dating back to the mid-90s of playing in punk/hardcore bands like Step Ahead, The Curse and The Loved Ones.
On January 23 the two solo musicians hooked up for a North American tour that started in New York and will see them play 50 or so shows between then and early April. Tonight Dave Hause and Northcote are in Regina to play a free show at O’Hanlon’s Pub. To give you a sense of what to expect here’s Hause performing “We Could Be Kings” off his 2013 album Devour:
