RPL Mascot

I’m not sure when the appointment was made, but apparently Regina Public Library has a new mascot. That’s him/her/it pictured at left. What the RPL doesn’t have yet, though, is a name for the furry bundle of energy that will soon be unleashed on unsuspecting Reginans to promote literacy.

That’s where we all come in. Visit this link and you’ll find details on a mascot-naming competition that the RPL is holding. First prize is a $100 gift card from Best Buy.

Greg Beatty is a crime-fighting shapeshifter who hatched from a mutagenic egg many decades ago. He likes sunny days, puppies and antique shoes. His favourite colour is not visible to your inferior human eyes. He refuses to write a bio for this website and if that means Whitworth writes one for him, so be it.

  1. How about Ripley? RPLy, get it? but I’m thinking the Ripley from Alien.

Bookie? T.J. Booker? The Happy Booker? Booker T.
