Regina Band Swap

Band SwapYou take 35 local musicians, divvy them up into seven bands consisting of five members on various instruments each, give them a list of cover songs and 24 hours to learn them, and then let them hit the stage and perform.

That’s the formula for this annual holiday concert which serves as a fundraiser for Carmichael Outreach. Band Swap 2015 goes Sunday Dec. 27 at the Exchange. Doors are at 8 p.m., and admission is $20.

With everyone home for the holidays, and not much touring going on, this is always a popular and well-attended event. So if you don’t want to miss out on all the musical fun you better look into getting your tickets in advance. And here’s a link to a cover story in our Dec. 23 issue on Band Swap by Devin Pacholik.
