2015 marks Randy Bachman’s 55th year in the music business. From his start with Al & the Silvertones in Winnipeg in 1960, through Chad Allen & the Expressions, the Guess Who, Brave Belt, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Ironhorse, and various solo and collaborative projects, not to mention his CBC Radio show Vinyl Tap, he’s been a huge presence on the Canadian and international music scenes.
On Wednesday, Sept. 9 Bachman is in town to play a show at Casino Regina. Start time should be around 8 p.m., and tickets are $60/$65. Earlier this year, Bachman released the album Heavy Blues which was inspired by ’60s era blues rock and included contributions from Neil Young, Peter Frampton and Joe Bonamassa.
