Here’s some photographs from today’s rally for democracy in Victoria Park. Speakers, including Liberal MP Ralph Goodale, NDP candidate Noah Evanchuk and Green Party stalwart Victor Lau called for a public inquiry into robocalls and election suppression. The Regina rally, which was smooth and well-organized and drew, I’d guess, maybe 150 people, was one of several held across Canada today — here are reports from Ottawa, Winnipeg, Toronto and Edmonton. You can read more about the rallies here, and Dog Blogger Katherine Norton–whose interviews put the “i” in iPhone — will have more on today’s rally at some point tomorrow.

Your guess is off by about 150, Stephen. There were almost 300 people there. I did a rough headcount before it started and got over 200. And many more arrived after that. The other Stephen and I discussed afterwards and agreed there were close to 300.
It was a great event and a great day! Did you see that someone in London ON was detained by police? Cop on a power trip or what?!?
You missed the first speaker, who was really good. Simon Glezos, Assistant Professor in Political Science, specializing in international relations.
I am really pissed I am going to sign a forum letter just like the other 31,000 Soros phonies.
What’s a “forum letter”?
