Last year in our June 4 issue we did a cover story on the 75th anniversary of the On-to-Ottawa Trek and the Regina Riot in 1935. Here’s a link.¬†Wednesday night, the Plains Historical Museum and Regina Public Library (Central Branch) are joining forces to present a two-part exploration of that key event in Canadian history.

At 6:30 p.m., there’ll be a walking tour of historic sites in downtown Regina. It will depart from the site of the old locomotive at Casino Regina, and will go rain or shine. That will be¬†followed by a documentary film screening at the RPL Theatre at 8 p.m.
