Here’s a breakdown on the venues and performers for this annual blues showcase

Thursday, Feb. 28 the Jack Semple Band, Bill Durst, Evan Chambers & the Third Alarm and Eddie & the House Rockers will be appearing at Royal Sask Museum. The show should get going at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are $25.

Friday, March 1 the action switches to the Casino Regina Lounge. Appearing will be the Powder Blues Band, Marcia Bell and Ross Neilson. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $40.

Casino Regina is also hosting the Saturday, March 2 show. Appearing will be Kim Wilson’s Blues Allstars, Albert Castiglia and Harpoonist & the Axe Murderer. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $40.

Harpoonist & the Axe Murderer is a Vancouver-based drums and guitar duo. They were in town last fall to showcase at the Western Canadian Music Awards where they turned more than a few heads. To give you a taste, here’s the video for their 2012 song “Roll With The Punches”:
