Pick of the Day: Rob Moir

Don’t know a ton about Rob Moir. He’s apparently from Toronto, previously fronted a punk band called Dead Letter Dept., and is currently on a 40 date North American tour with his band The Great Lates to promote his new solo EP This is the Lie.

Moir describes the EP as melodic folk in the vein of  John K. Sampson (The Weakerthans), Jason Collett and The Wooden Sky.
