Pick of the Day: Neil Young Journeys

Directed by Jonathan Demme, this 2011 documentary follows Canuck musical legend Neil Young on a bit of a road trip from his hometown of Omemee, Ont. to Massey Hall in downtown Toronto where he was scheduled to play the final two concerts in his solo world tour. Along the way he recalls stories from his past.

Neil Young Journeys runs tonight at the RPL Theatre at 7 p.m. To get you primed here’s the trailer:

Author: Gregory Beatty

Greg Beatty is a crime-fighting shapeshifter who hatched from a mutagenic egg many decades ago. He likes sunny days, puppies and antique shoes. His favourite colour is not visible to your inferior human eyes. He refuses to write a bio for this website and if that means Whitworth writes one for him, so be it.

  1. Buying the new Neil Young&Crazyhorse CD.

    Dylan here yahoo!
Neil not in Regina? BOO! The Harvard stranglehold sucks.

How many stadia shows will Regina get?
4 shows at Taylor since I’ve lived here.

All of those bands are retiring..lol

I kinda like the new Rolling Stones song.

1 Metallica show mabye before they go the casino route.

Regina citizens are not worthy of a show, but if you drive 450 kliks,+ ticket price, you have opportunity to watch.
