Pick of the Day: Mark Berube

Born in Manitoba, but raised in Swaziland, folk/roots singer Mark Berube currently lives Montreal. Because of his talent for lyrics, some critics have compared him to a young Leonard Cohen.

Tonight, as part of the Regina Folk Festival Concert Series, he and his band are in town to play a show at the Exchange. Belle Plaine is the support act. Doors are at 8 p.m., and tickets are $15 adv.and $20 door and can be obtained by calling 525-6400.
