Like Justin Bieber, Kreayshawn is a bit of an internet sensation. Born and raised in the San Francisco-Oakland area, she started making videos and performing rap songs as a young teen. Eventually, she dropped out of school and moved to L.A. to pursue a rap career. She first teamed up with Lil Debbie and V-Nasty as part of White Girl Mob, and in May 2011 released a solo video for a song called “Gucci, Gucci” which attracted a whole pile of hits on YouTube.
From there, she signed a recording contract with Columbia Records. Tonight, she’s in town to play a show at the Exchange along with Rye, Rye, Honey Cocaine and a couple of other acts.
To give you a taste, here’s the aforementioned “Gucci,Gucci” video:
“Kreayshawn on December 7th 2012 has been cancelled due to immigration problems.”
Looks like a sad day for white trash.
Haha, I was going to say, “Welcome to 22 below, Kreayshawn!”
I’m guaranteeing the “immigration problems” happened when they converted -22C in Farenheit and shit their honey cocaine all over the aeroplane.
