Throughout 2011, CJTR Community Radio has been holding monthly concerts at the Exchange to celebrate the 10th anniversary of it first going on the air. The gig tonight is an extra special one as it was around this time in 2001 when CJTR burst on the Regina airwaves.

Doors tonight at the Exchange are at 7:30 p.m. Featured performers include Belle Plaine (pictured, with bassist Beth Curry), the Lonesome Weekends, Kory Istace & the Time Pirates, Tiny and Howowl. Tickets are $10.

Also on tonight, local guitar whiz Jack Semple and a number of musical guests are playing a show at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum. Doors are at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are General$25, and $20 for RSM members. For more info call 757-5951. To close, here’s video from earlier this year of Semple and his band performing “When My Baby Comes Back” in Halifax
