Photos From Last Year

Regular readers of this blog might recall that Dechene, Steel and I took a trip to Saskatoon last fall to see Arcade Fire. (Also in Saskatoon but not in our car: Brotheridge, the Bradvertiser and Craig Shutko and Kim Jay, who blogged this up for Dog Blog.) I meant to post some photos but never got around to it. This afternoon though, I need something to use for procrastination fodder. So here’s Carle in Saskatoon, copy editing a sign just outside of our hotel. Better late than never!

And lo, the world was saved from an extraneous apostrophe.

After the jump: Magic copy-editing boots!

  1. Thank you Carle! It is a lonely, thankless and neverending job removing the world’s superfluous apostrophes…I’m relieved to know someone else out there cares.

  2. Yes, applause is in order. An apostrophe being used in that manner is one of my ultimate peeves. Every time I see one I feel anger. Wow, I can’t believe I get so worked up over punctuation.

  3. As it happens, it was right around National Punctuation Day. We celebrate correct punctuation every day of course, but this was a special treat. And sooooo satisfying.
