NOON YEAR’S EVE Family-friendly way to ring in the new year, with crafts, refreshments, holiday movies, science exhibits, including a new display called Building Connections, and a Big Bang stage show. (Saskatchewan Science Centre. Dec. 31, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. $15 per person ages three to adult.)

NEW YEAR’S @ THE CENTRE featuring food stations, games, live jazz in the lobby, country music and karaoke in the Shumiatcher Room, and live rock with the Stampeders in the Conexus Arts Centre Convention Hall, 7 p.m. $78.75, with partial proceeds to support Brighter Futures For Children.
