New Poll!

“Who will cause the most trouble in Regina’s new two-way downtown?” Your choices are cars, pedestrians and cyclists. Poll is down yonder on the right.

  1. It would be better if traffic could actually get all the way through on 12th Avenue right now. I was there yesterday, and 12th avenue is closed 2 blocks Eastbound, and essentially 3 blocks Westbound. Is this what it is going to be like during events that close the plaza area to traffic? Or is something going to happen to change Scarth Street, either on 1800 block (open it up to cars?) or 1900 block (make it two-way?)? I am curious. That part doesn’t seem very well-planned at the moment. Honestly, if 12th Avenue is turning into a place where the road is closed occasionally-to-often, I think F.W. Hill Mall opening up to traffic may be the best solution.
