Just a reminder that the deadline for entering the Dunlop Gallery’s Living Pictures competition is fast approaching. Living Pictures 4 is being held on Aug. 20 in Victoria Park, and as I noted in a previous post there’s $1200 in prizes to be won, and the special theme this year, in honour of the Juno Awards, is pre-1980 and post-1980 album covers.
The deadline for registration is Aug. 8. Registration forms are available at the Dunlop’s Central Library location, or by contacting competition coordinator Wendy Peart at wpeart@reginalibrary.ca or 306-777-6044. You can also access the form online here.
Pictured above, by the way, is an entry from Living Pictures 3 last year where the special theme was motion pictures. The entry was by Andrea Kowalchuk, and as you can probably guess the movie being referenced was Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.
