Apparently Saskatchewan has a Water Security Agency. And today it released its March forecast on flood conditions that people in different areas of the province could face when spring melt finally kicks in. As you’ll see from this CBC report, the news for Regina, Moose Jaw and surrounding communities is not great.

Good for them, it’s about time someone said something, but it’s like: Uhh, duuuh, 2nd-highest snowfall of all-time + super late-to-no-such melting into mid-March…potential for giant run-off? Duh.
Safe to say many people already got that hint since January.
People like to live where they have access to water.
