Johnny Reid

Born in Scotland, Johnny Reid moved to Canada with his family when he was 13. He later decamped to Nashville, where he established himself in the country music industry, but he remains wildly popular in his adopted country.

How popular? Well, when his appearance at Conexus Arts Centre was first announced, it was supposed to be a two-night show. But the first two gigs quickly sold out so a third night was added.

Reid is touring in support of a new album called What Love Is All About which was released in November. His trio of concerts go Tuesday Feb. 16, Wednesday Feb. 17 and Thursday Feb. 18 at Conexus with curtain at 7 p.m. Assuming there’s tickets still left, they’re in the price range of $69.75-$91.

Here’s the first single off Reid’s new album. It’s billed as a tear-jerker called “A Picture of You”
