This concert is being presented by the Regina Musical Club later today at the University of Regina’s Riddell Centre Theatre. The guest artists are Simon Fryer (cello), Marie-Noelle Berthelet (flute) and Cecile Denis (harp).

Fryer is principal cello with the Regina Symphony Orchestra, and recently released a CD of Victorian Cello Sonatas. Berthelet is principal flute with the RSO, and also plays in the Baroque period ensemble Per Sonatori. Denis also plays with the RSO, and is a member of the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. So as far as trios go, they possess a fair bit of musical talent.

I’m not sure what compositions are on the program, but the concert starts at 2 p.m. Tickets are Adults $25, Students and Seniors $20, Children $5, with U of R Students being admitted free with ID.
