Halloween Fun

Halloween is on Saturday this year, which always opens the door adults who celebrate the day to do so with a bit more gusto than when it’s in the middle of the week.

Here’s some party options that have come to my attention so far:

Sunday 25

Tuesday 27

HALLOWEEN BASH with F.O.G.D.O.G. at McNally’s Tavern.

MONSTER BASH Family-friendly Halloween party with crafts, games, treats, dancing with DJ Jeremy and plenty of glow-in-the-dark fun. Royal Saskatchewan Museum, 6:30-8:30 p.m. $5, kids two and under free.

Saturday 31

MONSTERS, MASKS & MOUNTIES Family-friendly Halloween party, includes a magic show, costume contest, pumpkin bowling and the Black Museum of crime artifacts. RCMP Heritage Museum, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

JUDAS PRIEST REDEEMER OF SOULS TOUR with One Bad Son at Brandt Centre, 8 p.m. $29.50-$69.50. See brandtcentre.com.

GRAVEYARD STRUT with musicians covering music by the Ramones, Descendants, New York Dolls and Black Sabbath at Mercury Café, 9 p.m. $10, with partial proceeds to Sofia House.

AFRO KIZZ HALLOWEEN SHOWCASE & DANCE PARTY at the Exchange.

HALLOWEEN CABARET with Spellbound (Eric Clapton Tribute) and Tyler Gilbert at Artesian, doors at 7:30 p.m. $20.

CARLO PETROVICH playing Halloween-themed jazz tunes at the Capitol Jazz Club.

HALLOWEEN BIRTHDAY PARTY Family friendly afternoon of trick or treat fun to celebrate the hall’s 49th birthday. Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame, 1-3 p.m. $10 per family, $5 per person.

FAMILY HALLOWEEN PARTY Drop in party with crafts, games and refreshments hosted by the Cathedral Area Community Association. Cathedral Neighbourhood Centre, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
