Hmm. An Elephat in Edmonton was removed from a zoo, because she was by herself. Yes the Mointor Lizard has company sort of, but none of his own kind…
That fellow would EAT kitties.
Maybe but probably not. Lots of monitors get weirdly tame and that fellow looks like one of ’em.
(But he certainly would be able to eat small kitties if he wanted to.)
