It’s alive!
Only barely.
All of the city trees need a serious pruning. Certain trees need a “haircut” once every coupla yrs.
This tree needs not to be planted where it is. It suffers from lack of moisture, from poor soil, and from limiting surroundings. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that all city trees are doomed, but certainly those planted in a tiny square hemmed in by brick, tile or concrete, are really up against it.
