Death (DTA)

Last year at this time, Regina was playing host to the 101st Grey Cup, and football fans from across the country were descending on the city for the big game and the related festivities.

This year, the pigskin party is in Vancouver on Nov. 30. That doesn’t mean there isn’t stuff to do in Regina. If you’re a heavy metal fan, for instance, the Orlando-based band Death (DTA) is headlining a gig at the University of Regina’s Riddell Centre tonight that also includes Obituary, Massacre, Rivers of Nihil and Untimely Demise.

Doors are at 6 p.m. and tickets are $35. To give you a sense of what to expect, here’s video from 2014 of Death (DTA) performing their song “Crystal Mountain” at HellFest:
