Corb Lund

Corb Lund & the Hurtin’ Albertans is the official name of this country band fronted by a former member of the seminal Edmonton punk band The Smalls. Given the catastrophic state of the oil industry these days, plenty of Albertans, it seems, are hurtin’. So while during boom times the band name might have had an ironic touch to it, now it’s definitely apropos.

On Tuesday Feb. 9 Lund and his band will be in town to play a show atĀ Casino Regina. They’re touring in support of their latest album, things That Can’t Be UndoneĀ which was released in October. Tickets for the casino show on Tuesday are $35/$40.
