Man, those once-wealthy ex-newspaper magnates convicted of fraud sure have a hard time staying put in prison (CBC). It’s almost like the system isn’t built to keep them locked up.

  1. No fan of Conrad Black, or of his Mrs., but I have to say that if the Supreme Court overturned his convictions, then the system is working as it should, like it or not.
