So the Globe and Mail is telling me that the way to reel in web traffic is with infographics.
Hmm… We can always use more web traffic.
Well, this week, the Executive Committee, in addition to reporting on which councillors will be sitting on what committees, tallied up councillors’ committee attendance records for 2010.
Perfect fodder for an infographic, m’thinks. That’s it to the left. No frills but the bastard gets the job done. Click to embiggen.
That Findura is dedicated, but what’s up with Szarka?
O’Donnell’s Pac-Man ftw?
Mr. Szarka plays with a professional sports team, which perhaps is not as flexible as other employers when it comes to public service commitments, even for councillors in the midrange of committee appointments. For perspective, look at Councillor Hincks’s committee appointments vs. attendance, and ask the same question.
My respect for Paul Dechene grows apace, because he puts his record up for public viewing – a minority of critics do so. Talk about accountability! His dedication to Thursday Night Loaded is highly commendable (pun intended).
what are the hits on your facebook site like compared to the hits on the blog site? you might get more hits on here if you had a competition that ran on here, or one that ran on here and facebook
use my polls is a surefire way to increase web traffic
and ensuring that Whitworth continues as the Put-Down King
My unasked-for opinion: 70% is decent, over 80% is good, over 90 is outstanding. With the one exception I think Regina should be content with the results.
Whitworth doesn’t want to be the “put-down king!” I want to be “Admiral Blarrrgh”.
Can you link to your last poll suggestion, Jeff? I’ve misplaced it.
Regarding the current poll re: minimum wage. The first answer “raise the wage dramatically like labour wants” is not what labour actually said.
@Regina mom: thank you, will tweak for accuracy.
