In February to April, thousands of Prairie Dog readers will be flocking to our Best of Food online poll to nominate, and then vote for, their favourite restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops. Now is your chance to grab their attention!

How it works
1. Nomination Round
February 1 to March 13
The public submits nominations in an open field. Nominees with the most nominations move on to the voting round.
2. Voting Round
March 20 to May 1
The public votes on a multiple‑choice ballot of the top nominees.
3. Results
July 6
All the winners and runners-up will be published in print and online. The popular webpage will remain up for an entire year.
4. Awards
Winners are entitled to an official framed certificate identifying the category (or categories) they won.

Get a banner ad right on the web ballot. There are three options:
SPONSORSHIP: A 600 × 120 pixel ad right above the ballot. Only one sponsorship is available. It runs the entire length of the nomination and voting rounds.

Featured Entrant
VOTING ROUND ONLY. Have you been nominated? If so, congrats! You have a unique opportunity to promote yourself.
Get a featured information card on the ballot in the category you were nominated for. This card can have any of the following: text description (max 50 words), address (linked to Google Maps), phone, website link, Facebook link, Twitter link, photo. The feature card appears above the other entrants.
$99 (voting round only)
This price is per entry. If you have been nominated in multiple categories, each category counts as a separate entry.
Sidebar Ad
Get a web ad (300 × 250 pixels) on the sidebar of prairiedogmag.com. Only five sidebar slots are available! Sidebar ads, unlike the ballot ads, appear on all pages of the website, inlcuding the Best of Food ballot page.

E-Newsletter
There will be eight email newsletters sent to our nearly 10,000 subscribers (four per round). They promote Best of Food and can feature either your logo or an ad.
