Blake Berglund & the Vultures

Hailing from Kennedy, SK, Blake Berglund has been a presence on the Saskatchewan country music scene for a few years now. He’s got at least two studio albums to his credit: Ends of the Earth which was released in 2010, and Coyote which came out in 2012. And last fall, I believe he and his band the Vultures released a live album called Jasper. He’s also scooped a Saskatchewan Country Music Award or two, including Rising Star in 2011.

Friday, Feb. 6 Berglund is playing a show with his band at the Exchange (tickets are $20). Support duties are being handled by the Saskatoon band the Barrelmen along with Regina country/jazz artist Belle Plaine.
