Bill 5 Ruled Unconstitutional by Court of Queens Bench

So says a CBC Saskatchewan tweet. (That’s the essential services law, one of the first ones the Wall government passed.) Pretty sure more is coming.

  1. The idea of essential service legislation still remains intact, but it’s deemed too strict compared to essential service legislation in other neighboring provinces.

    The judge did rule bill 180 as constitutional for the voting process of forming a union.
