Based in Minneapolis, Atmosphere has been performing as a hip hop group since 1989. The two principals, Sean Daley (Slug) and Anthony Davis (Ant), have collaborated with other artists over the years, and have released six studio albums and 10 EPs in total.

Their most recent album on their label Rhymesayers is Southsiders, which was released on May 6. Tonight, the duo are in town to play a show at the Exchange. Sharing the bill are two other Minneapolis-based hip hop projects PROF and deM atlaS. Tickets are $25, and doors are at 8 p.m. To give you a taste, here’s Atmosphere’s first single off Southsiders called “Bitter”:
