As If It Wasn’t Happening In Your Back Yard

If Stephen Harper truly believes Ukrainians have the right to protest in the streets against their (kind of) democratically-elected government, doesn’t he owe anyone who was arrested or otherwise harassed by police and security at Toronto’s G20 an apology?

  1. It’s interesting to note that one of the “anti-democratic” laws recently revoked by Ukraine was a prohibition on wearing gas masks during a protest. Meanwhile it remains illegal in Canada to wear any sort of face covering during an “unlawful assembly”.

  2. In Canada an “unlawful assembly” would be any type of gathering that shows public disagreement with the fuhrer Harper. This country is run by rich, stupid, bigoted, greedy white people so why expect anything else?
