Annie Lou

Previously based in the Yukon, folk roots artist Annie Lou (short for Anne Louise Genest) now calls Vancouver Island home. Along with her band Max Heineman (upright bass, vocals), Andrew Collins (mandolin, fiddle, vocals) and Sarah Hamilton (fiddle, vocals) she’ll be in town to play a show at the Exchange on Monday Feb. 15.

The concert is being presented¬†by Grassroots Regina, and will get going at 8 p.m. You can find out more on the Grassroots Regina website. ¬†And to give you a sense of what to expect here’s video of the band from Australia in 2014 playing a song called “Spit & Polish”
