This UK-based metal band is creeping up on 45-years in the biz — although they didn’t really come to mainstream attention until the latter part of the 1970s. Still, it’s a pretty impressive run for a band inhabiting that genre of music.
Judas Priest hasn’t totally sat on its laurels, either. In the last ten years they’ve released three new albums: Angel of Retribution (2005), Nostradamus (2008) and Redeemer of Souls (2014)
On Saturday, Oct. 31 Judas Priest, which includes longtime members Rob Halford (vocals), Ian Hill (bass) and Glen Tipton (guitar, keys), will be in town to play a show at Brandt Centre as part of its Redeemer of Souls tour. The first power chord should be struck shortly after 8 p.m., and tickets are $29.50-$69.50.
To get everyone pumped, here’s video from 2013 of Priest performing one of their bigger hits “Living After Midnight”
