Hawksley Workman was last in town in late March to perform in the rock ‘n’ roll cabaret The God That Comes. That was at the Artesian, and I believe the four-day run was quite well attended.

Now, Workman’s back to do a more conventional concert — although given his style as a raconteur his concerts are never strictly conventional.

The show is being presented by the Regina Folk Festival as part of its concert series at Darke Hall on Friday Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. The back-up act is English singer-songwriter Fiona Bevan. You can find out more information on the RFF website.
