This is a spring tradition in Regina. You can get all the details on the festival, which has events happening throughout the day on Saturday and on Sunday May 17, on the SHGCF website.

Most of the action, which will include pipes and drums, Celtic bands, dance, athletic competitions, children’s activities and more, will be held in Victoria Park. An adult day/weekend pass will run you $15/$25, while for youth 13-18 it’s $7/$10, and children 12 and under admitted free.

Saturday’s proceedings will be topped off by a sure to be raucous performance by the Mudmen which will be held at the Knotted Thistle Festival tent. To get the juices flowing, here’s video of the band performing on a CTV show a couple of years ago.
