Queen is pretty much a no-brainer for the Regina Symphony Orchestra to dedicate a Shumiatcher Pops concert to. In “Bohemian Rhapsody” especially, but in many other songs too, they incorporated a lot of symphonic and operatic influences.
This Pops concert goes Saturday, May 2 at Conexus Arts Centre at 8 p.m. Guest artists are Michael Shotton and the Jeans ‘n Classics Band. You can find more info on the RSO website. And to play us out here’s Queen performing “Radio GaGa” at the Live AID benefit at Wembley Stadium in London in 1985.
