Typically, this annual Regina Symphony Orchestra salute to movie music happens in advance of the Academy Awards. This year, though, the Oscars were held a tad earlier than usual so all the hoopla in Tinseltown has come and gone.
But if you’re a movie nut, you still have a chance to celebrate at this Shumiatcher Pops concert that goes Saturday, Feb. 28 at Conexus Arts Centre at 8 p.m. As always, audience members are encouraged to dress up as a favourite Hollywood star or character.
