Curtain RazorsWritten and directed by long-time University of Regina theatre professor Kelly Handerek, this play involves a young man with roots in a small town who comes to realize as he’s growing up that he’s destined for a more adventuresome life than what his home community can offer.

The play is being presented by the local theatre company Curtain Razors in partnership with the U of R theatre department and the Faculty of Fine Arts. It apparently premiered in London, England last fall, and this is its second performance. Playing the title role is Kent Evans (pictured).

Small Boy Dreams runs at the university’s ShuBox Theatre Friday Feb. 6 and Saturday Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday Feb. 8 at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $10. For more information visit the Curtain Razors website.
