In January 2014, Catherine MacLellan played a show at Creative City Centre in downtown Regina. On Sunday, Feb. 8 she returns to the city to play a concert presented by Grassroots Regina at the Exchange.
MacLellan is the daughter of Canadian folk artist Gene MacLellan. She was born in PEI, and has been active as a solo artist in the music biz since 2004. Since her last appearance in Regina, she’s released her fifth full-length album The Raven’s Son.
Again, the concert is on Sunday at 8 p.m., and the back-up act is Chris Gauthier. Tickets are $20 advance, $25 door, and to close here’s video of MacLellan and Gauthier performing the title track off her 2014 album “The Raven’s Son”:
