Looking for spook season shenanigans? Here you go
HALLOWEEN EVENTS by Beatty and Whitworth
BOO! It’s Halloween, and since you’re reading Prairie Dog — a newspaper bulging with filthy swear words that’s CLEARLY intended for grown-ups — we’re going to assume you aren’t some 10-year-old kid planning to dress up like a “Minecraft” (whatever that is) and go door to door begging for candy.
We’re also going to guess you’re not one of those douchebags who goes around smashing other people’s beautifully carved pumpkins, because that would mean you are an unpleasant teenage dude who hates gourd art and is probably illiterate anyway (why else would someone project their self-hatred onto jack o’lanterns?).
No, if you’re reading this, you’re an adult and that means you’re looking for one thing this Halloween: sex, drugs and rock and roll (okay that’s three things. Maybe four — is rock and roll one thing, or two?).
But where can you find these devilish delights? Well, how about in a little place called “all over the freaking place”? A.k.a, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. A.k.a., HERE. And we’ve got the itinerary for you splattered all over this page. All you need is the costume, a libido, and a designated driver. And remember, as our hero Dan Savage (look him up) says: “Heterosexuals in North America have needed a holiday like this for a long, long time. And now you’ve got one in Halloween. It’s yours now, straight people. Be good to it.”
So get out there and have fun! The only thing you’ll be haunted by is a hangover.
