Based in Vancouver, Mother Mother have been rocking the Canadian indie scene since 2005. I’m not sure what the exact origins of the band’s name are, but since the group is fronted by siblings Ryan and Molly Guldemond, it’s somewhat appropriate.
On Saturday, Nov. 29 Mother Mother will be in town to play a show at the university bar the Owl. The band is touring in support of its fifth full-length Very Good Bad Thing which was released in October. The back-up band is the Toronto dance duo USS, and tickets are $27.50.
