Here’s a heads up about a production that Youth Ballet and Contemporary Dance of Saskatchewan is presenting at the University of Regina Theatre on Nov. 21-23 at 7:30 p.m.
As the show title implies, the performance will mix different styles of dance. The East will be represented by traditional Indian Kathak dance which has a strong story-telling component to it related to tribal legends and myths. The West part of the show, conversely, will be represented by classical ballet and modern dance.
Tickets for each evening performance are Adults $22, Students & Seniors $15, while Children 12 and under $5.
