Before all you epidemiologists out there get too excited, this event has nothing to do with the plague — at least in a literal sense. Instead, it’s a heavy metal concert featuring three veteran metal bands — Tampa Bay-based Iced Earth (which is fronted by former Into Eternity vocalist Stu Block), Swedish headbangers Sabaton and Dutch heavy metallists ReVamp.
The concert goes tonight at the Riddell Centre Multi-Purpose Room at the University of Regina. Doors are at 6 p.m. and tickets are $35. To get the blood flowing here’s the video for Iced Earth’s tune “Anthem” off their 2012 album Dystopia:
