West is a relative concept, I suppose. For people in central Canada, Manitoba is part of the west. But for us, it’s east of here, while Alberta and B.C. are west of Saskatchewan. This indie folk quartet hails from the city of Victoria, which is pretty much as far west as you can go in Canada before you hit the Pacific Ocean.

The group is composed of Eden Oliver, Alex Rempel, Jeff Poynter and Adam Bailey, and they recently released their second full-length album. They’ll be in town tonight to play a show at the SCES Club that’s being presented by Grassroots Regina (doors at 8 p.m., tickets $15).
