Tonight at the University of Regina’s Riddell Centre, the Regina-based Centre For Inquiry is presenting a night of comedy and magic. The organization’s mandate is to promote awareness of secular values and discourage belief in myth, superstition and other non-empirical ways of understanding existence.

CFI had initially planned a slightly more provocative show with American YouTube star Dusty Smith as the headliner. Through a whole series of videos, Smith has carved out quite a career for himself as a debunker of a hardcore religious ideology. But apparently the Lord had other plans for Smith tonight as plans to book him fell through.

Most of the other details remain the same. Tickets are $20, doors are at 6 p.m., and the show starts at 6:30 p.m. More information can be obtained by calling  306-569-0108.
