Fresh off their win at last October’s Western Canadian Music Awards in Calgary, where they scooped Best Independent Album for their 2012 CD The Poet’s Dead, Rah Rah should have some new songs on their set list when they hit the stage at the Exchange tonight. Not that there was anything wrong with their last album. In late March, in fact, they’ll be up for a Juno Award in Winnipeg for Best Alternative Album. But I believe they are scheduled to be in studio this summer so they might have some new songs to try out.
